Now just do the thing

The code I wrote in this series was about 1.5 weeks of work. Then it took me 3-4 weeks to do all the writing for it. Obviously I could get more done if I didn't also teach and explain along the way, but I thought it was a good exercise.

Now the hard part - just do the thing.

The hardest part of any project is finishing it so I'm going to take a slower approach to working on this. My hope is that a steady pace will help me stay interested in it and not give up due to lack of progress. I'm planning to use some new tools, like Gitea and Drone, to manage progress and deployment.

I will probably write updates every once in a while, but for now - I hope you enjoyed the read!
